vego presents virtual LIVESTREAM commencements
Using our live stream and production expertise, we have launched a service to help schools conduct commencement ceremonies 100% online!
The online event will allow your schools to closely replicate the in-person ceremony you would normally conduct.
The event is 100% remote, so all participants and attendees can join from the comfort and safety of their homes.
There can be multiple remote speakers, a live remote audience, a moderated live chat, graphics that have the school logo and speaker’s name on the screen, musical performances, and much more!

What will a virtual commencement look like?
It is completely customizable, but here is a sample of what your virtual commencement could look like:
All attendees will be provided with a link to attend the password protected virtual commencement event that they can view on a mobile device or computer.
Before the event starts, there will be a countdown timer on screen playing video highlights of your school, band performances, a slideshow of students’ photos, or any other video or slideshow. Your school's colors and logo will be on screen. There will also be a moderated live chat.
The school president will appear live on screen (with their name and title at the bottom of the screen) to welcome everyone and give a brief speech. They can then introduce another speaker such as the valedictorian. The valedictorian gives a brief live speech and then the broadcast cuts back to the president or a professor to give another brief speech.
Then there can be a prerecorded or live musical performance from an individual or the school band.
The broadcast then cuts back to the president and the president announces each graduate. The name of the student will appear at the bottom of the screen and a photo of the student be shown.
When all the names have been called, the president can thank everyone for attending and music will play with video highlights of the school.
All attendees can be sent a digital recording of the ceremony.
